Friday was a busy day at the Jackson Town Office opposite the Village House with a flag raising ceremony to mark the 3rd 'Christmas Can Cure' initiative, originally founded by the local Carrier family of Jackson, New Hampshire. Together with their families, wounded veterans,' Rocky Perez' and 'DJ Martin' came to the village to enjoy the Polar Express, sleigh rides at Nestlenook Farm, tubing at Cranmore, a magic show, a walking tour of North Conway, adaptive skiing at Attitash, snow mobiling, hair and manicures for the moms, and dining at local restaurants. Sally, John and Rebecca Partoon were honored to meet the wounded warriors at a donors' cocktail party held at the Wentworth Hotel on Monday evening, and Sally is extremely pleased to have been able to support recent Christmas Can Cure activities through her publicity and PR efforts on behalf of the organization.

Christmas Can Cure together with help from the Wounded Warrior Project, seeks to give selected wounded warriors and their families a Christmas to remember.  Welcomed by the small town of Jackson and the surrounding area of the Mount Washington Valley, these families have the opportunity to enjoy many winter activities and attractions during a memorable, fun packed weekend.  For more information visit http://www.christmascancure.org/.
