The Androscoggin River provides a beautiful setting for full and half day guided river trips. Choose either a canoe or a kayak for your trip, and be sure to bring your camera as the Mahoosuc Mountains provide a stunning backdrop, with plenty of opportunities to spot deer, moose, river otters, blue herons, ducks, bald eagles and owls.
Trips are designed for first time paddlers and experts alike, offering a leisurely relaxed day on the river, with plenty of time for swimming on the way.
Full day packages include; afternoon refreshments on arrival, 2 nights lodging, all you can eat continental breakfast and a day on the river between 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., from $420 for two. Half day packages are from 12.30 to 5.00 p.m., priced from $380 for two.

White water adventure for the family in New Hampshire countryside
White water rafting adventures with the Village House
Take the family and enjoy a one day guided white water rafting experience along the Androscoggin River, Class II/III. When you return, soak in the outdoor hot tub and enjoy s’mores by the chiminea as you unwind from the thrill of the day’s activity.
This special is available at weekends throughout July and August for groups of 4 or more. Prices from $620 for 4 (2 adults/2 children) include two night’s stay in one of our family studio apartments, afternoon refreshments on arrival, all you can eat continental breakfast, transportation from the inn, safety gear for the trip, a certified guide, and lunch.
We also offer weekend rafting adventures on the Magalloway and Rapid Rivers, Class III and IV. Prices from $780 for four.
